Witley Classic Enduro
1st Round of the South East Enduro Combine Championship 2012
Sunday 5th February 2012 Start time 10:00 am at
Warren Heath, Nr Blackbushe - A30/A327 - Yateley - Surrey/Hants border.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Witley & District Motor Cycle Club will organise an open Time Card Enduro event to be held under the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the Enduro Standing Regulations, additional Standing Regulations for Short Course Enduro’s - South East Enduro Combine Regulations, and the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions that may be issued.

ELIGIBILITY: All riders must hold an ACU LICENCE issued by the ACU or SACU and be of the minimum age to have obtained an ACU Licence. One event licences will be available (price £10.00) if a rider does not hold a valid 2012 competition licence.

START:The start will be at Warren Heath, Nr Blackbushe, Yateley, Surrey/Hants border. It will be signposted off the A30/A327. First riders will start at 10:00 am. Riders to sign-on by 09:45 am. Technical Control will take place between 07:30 to 09:45 am.

ENTRIES: Must be on the correct ACU headed entry form together with the correct fee of £45.00 ( N.B a requirement of signing an entry application form is that each signatory understands the National Sporting code of the ACU ) and returned to the secretary of the event with the correct fee before the closing date of last post Tuesday 3rd February 2012, Entries limited to a maximum of 250 - Day Licence Available £10.

COURSE: This will be up to 10 miles of forestry tracks & paths. The course will be marked by tape and arrows.
The duration of the event may be up to 5 hours. There may be up to 3 separate special tests to be ridden more than once

CLASSES: 1. Championship. 2. Expert. 3. Veteran A (Over 40 Expert) 4. Clubperson A. 5. Veteran B (Over 40 Clubman) 6. Clubperson B 7. Evo 8. Sportsperson (for beginners and non-competitive riders on finishers award only basis.)

AWARDS: As per South East Enduro Combine Regulations.

MACHINES: Must be in accordance with the A.C.U. Sporting Code. No Motocross bikes will be permitted to ride if they do not conform to the ACU Handbook. All bikes must be fitted with lights and enduro exhaust pipes. Random noise testing will be taking place. You have been warned.

TYRES: Tyre type: Front: Any Rear: Enduro FIM/ E Marked/Road Legal Approved (Max tread depth 13mm) or trial tyre. (No Motocross Tyres Permitted)

ELECTRONIC TIMING: South East Enduro Combine (SEEC) Wristag’s maybe purchased outright on the day for lifetime ownership for one off cost of £20.00, or hire for day £10.00 plus £10.00 deposit. £10.00 deposit refundable on return of wristag at end of event.

Road registered ‘58’ plate, currently on SORN. One previous owner, ridden at Clubman level at local H&H events. Good, clean original condition, ready to ride. Minor dent in front pipe, slight tear to rear of seat cover, neither affect performance.

Jetting set up by ‘Dynotech Performance’ (Dyno charts inc in sale). Switchable ignition system. V Force reed block. Suspension set up by MH Racing.

Well maintained, recent top end rebuild inc Vertex piston kit, new little end bearing and new Castrol coolant. Forks just serviced with new Castrol synthetic fork oil, Athena seals and K-Tech slide bushings. All bearings stripped, cleaned and re-greased inc headstock, swing arm pivot and linkages. Silencer re-packed, carb and tank filter cleaned, gearbox oil changed regularly, air filter cleaned and oiled every ride.

Alloy sump guard, Pro Carbon exhaust guard, Cycra handguards, new Pro Taper tri density anti rip grips. Road legal enduro tyres fitted, pads hardly worn, side stand and some spares inc.

£2800 (any reasonable offer would be considered)

The South East Premier off-road event will be held this year on Tuesday 27th December The Day After Boxing Day. Weavers Down, the home of BEC Natterjack, will be the venue. Renowned for its challenging, spectator friendly and all-weather terrain, last year’s event proved to be very rideable even with the heavy snow.

Help for Heroes is our chosen charity with over £1700 donated from last year’s event. Every pound will go directly towards helping wounded Servicemen and women.

We are also taking this opportunity to launch our online membership system, of which we will offer one year’s subscription - FREE called Basic Membership. Open to anyone, promotion runs until February 1st 2012.

Witley MCC membership will now run from one year from payment date, using PayPal as our processor, with the option to yearly auto-renew membership (excluding Basic). Provision is being made to tie this in with any future ACU online licencing system. Ride With The Best! Ride With Witley! - more riding less filling in paper forms.

Classes have been re-vamped for this year, sidecars and quads are dropped due to safety concerns. The much-requested Twinshock Evo and Mini Bike have now been included for this year, with the the SEEC classes this will make nine all together.
We do reserve the right to move you if we think you are riding out of class.

There is a 300 rider limit, so please get in touch at the earliest opportunity for cancellations, you will be denying someone the chance of a ride, no contact no refund. To speed up the signing-on process, payments must be received in advance.

We are planning on holding a Trophy Presentation Ceremony within 30 minutes of the finish, make sure your bikes are secured before attending.

A little outdated, Witley MCC have received the ACU affiliated codes needed for applying for ACU online licences and have already integrated them into www.witleymcc.org membership accounts. The new ACU online licencing system has been tested by members using the codes and it works!
